We've seen plenty of hole-in-ones in our time (haven't had any ourselves, mind), but we've never seen one as crazy as this.
Australian golfer Richard Green was playing in the pro-am at the Victorian Open today, and when he noticed that the tee was brought forward on the short par four 15th, he decided to have a pop.
Green's drive was a little wayward, but took a mighty hop off the fairway, before careering in the direction of a greenside bunker.
We can't see into the bunker, but we can only assume that the small gremlins living in the sand trap decided to throw Green's ball back out onto the green, before watching it roll perfectly into the bottom of the cup, landing him one of the daftest hole in ones we've ever seen.
They call that the "member's bounce" (although he probably isn't actually a member).
Incredible.

This is extraordinary! On Sunday at Hollywood Lakes Golf Club in Dublin, playing partners Cian Casey and Gavin Ryan both made holes-in-one on the same hole. The odds of achieving this are simply astronomical, which the club explained on social media. They said: “An almost unbelievable scene unfolded at Hollywood Lakes Golf Club on Sunday, […]

The Offaly native produced an excellent final-round performance on Sunday, putting himself firmly in contention throughout the day. Lowry battled with […]
