We're on the case.

There was a cracking line-up on Second Captains last night. A world boxing champion, a back-to-back Six Nations winner, and one of the country's best GAA managers of the last decade. However, none came close to captivating the public quite like the bearded magnificence of Shane Lowry. It wasn't just the shape or full growth of the beard that amazed people though, but rather the fact that it was blindingly sparkly. Is he using a special conditioner? Does he massage a beard tonic into it? Was it just a lighting issue? Did he rub his face in glitter 10 minutes before the show? As a fellow-bearded man, these were all questions I asked myself as I lay awake last night. I needed answers. As usual, Twitter also spotted it. There were countless tweets about it, and by countless, I mean 31. Here are some of the best. https://twitter.com/miwhelan/status/588461769804374016 https://twitter.com/citizenmick/status/588460912035631106 https://twitter.com/ColmPriestley/status/588460589971832833 https://twitter.com/ChristinaRei/status/588459869956616192 https://twitter.com/dannypegbar/status/588459415650578432 https://twitter.com/jpbjnr/status/588457760225959936 https://twitter.com/FintanYTWalsh/status/588457563693383680 https://twitter.com/Woolberto/status/588457419564527618 We won't rest until we have answers.
