Golfers at the Open have been paying their respects to victims of the terror attack in Nice.

The State of Emergency on France has been extended after a truck driver in Nice drove into crowds of people celebrating Bastille Day, killing at least 84 people and injuring hundreds. A French tricolour is flying at half mast on one of the stands at Royal Troon as a mark of respect for the victims of the tragedy, while some golfers are wearing black armbands on the course on Friday. French golfer Clement Sordet paid his respects by writing a message of support on his hat. The message "Pray for Nice" was written clearly on the visor as he played played through his second round at the Open.
