Danny Willett is Masters champion as his brother provides hilarious Twitter commentary

Pure gold

Sheffield’s Danny Willett wins the Masters on -5.

It’s been an engrossing Masters 2016 at Augusta, with incredible technique and nerve on show, as well as one of the most sensational holes-in-one you will ever witness.

If you think it was difficult to watch as an avid fan, imagine what it was like for the families and loved ones of those involved. Judging by Danny Willett’s brother’s reaction, it was tense stuff.

The 28-year-old was vying with American Jordan Spieth and fellow Brit Lee Westwood right to the death, and P J Willett‘s support of his brother took the guise of hilarious shows of passion, excitement, stress and panic.

It ended with ultimate glory, but the ride was something to behold…

There was hope…

Respect…

Frustration…

Exasperation…

Dismay…

Baiting of Spieth…

Liquid courage…

Calls for profanity…

Hysteria…

Elation…

And pure pride…
