It’s hard to beat a night at the races. But what if we threw in one of 2fm's stars providing a DJ set at the end of the evening? Well, that’s what you can look forward to when Summer Sounds at the Curragh takes place at the iconic Kildare racecourse on Friday, 29 June. Aside from a fantastic line-up of horseracing, you can catch enjoy a DJ set by 2fm’s Bláthnaid Treacy after the races. Fans of racing will be treated to some fantastic action on the racecourse. Highlights on the day will include the JOE Handicap at 6.35pm, the Her.ie Apprentice Derby at 7.45pm and the SportsJOE Maiden at 8.55pm. Ticket holders will also be entitled to complimentary admission to Kildare's newest venue, Studio One, after the event. So your night doesn't have to end after the horseracing and the music. There will also be a shuttle service provided after the racing. The good news is that you and three friends could be going to next week's event.
