Safe to say we haven’t seen Michael Murphy take a hit like this on a football field.
If you are not already aware, Donegal and Glenswilly’s Michael Murphy is currently taking part in AIB’s The Toughest Trade.
Murphy is swapping the round ball for an oval one as he is currently training with French rugby heavyweights, Clermont Auvergne.
We recently saw footage of former Welsh rugby star, Shane Williams, excelling at football with Murphy’s club, Glenswilly, where he scored four points in a challenge match.
Now it’s Murphy’s turn and it is evident that he is truly getting the full rugby experience after being put on his backside during a training session with the French club.
He took it like a champ though and quickly gets back to his feet to continue the drill.
We can’t wait to see how he gets on.
