He can have no complaints.

Declan O’Mahony received a red card for this high challenge on Jason Lonergan in the All-Ireland club football senior semi-final.

The Ballyboden St. Enda’s man clattered Longeran 53 minutes into the game against Clonmel Commercials, and was forced to sit out the remainder of the half, in what was an evenly poised game.

The game finished level, 0-10 to 0-10, but Clonmel’s Michael Quinlivan received a black card early in the first period of extra time, and Ballyboden took control of the game.

The Dublin side ran out 0-15 to 0-10 winners and will now get a chance to win the All-Ireland club senior football champions on St Patrick’s Day at Croke Park.
