Ireland's shooting in Perth was the main reason that we lost the International Rules match this morning. It did improve as the game went on but a disastrous first half left the team with too big of a mountain to climb.
A fightback in the second half needed more than the two goals we managed and we had the Aussies to thank for one of them as Nick Smith rifled the ball into his own net aas he tried to clear the ball late in the fourth quarter.
We still lost, but thanks for the help Nick.
