Remember John Dowling? He’s the lad who ripped up his All-Ireland final ticket when he was offered €2,000 for his club Ardfert in Kerry.
A month later, AIB caught up with the legend who put his club before his county to see just what makes the parish in the north west of the county so special and how the money is going to be invested.
Naturally, John is a local hero now and his club people make some touching remarks in this brilliant new video.
