VIDEO: Cork team invade San Diego beach with hurls and sliotars and California natives are in love with GAA

We think we’ve just found the most scenic training ground in the country world.

A group of hurlers from Kinsale in Cork took for Pacific Beach in California and, instead of lying up and enjoying the sun and the views, they used the opportunity to show off their skills and to contest in the West Coast Sevens.

Jerome Quinn made the journey to the south west coast of the United States to capture some of these ridiculously good shots with a drone and to chat to some of the lads who made one of the longest journeys ever to take part in a tournament.

He also caught up with the locals in California, some of which have no Irish connections, but who are engrossed in the GAA way of life now and the ‘family’ feel to the games.

This is another smashing video that shows the power of the GAA way beyond Ireland even.

Thanks to Jerome Quinn at Jerome Quinn Media.
