For the most part the big guns managed to avoid each other, but we are set for one blockbuster tie.

Brian Cody's Kilkenny have been drawn to face Limerick in the Round 1 hurling draw. This will be a repeat of the 2014 All-Ireland semi-final where Kilkenny defeated the Treaty by two points.

All-Ireland champions Tipperary will face Westmeath in Round One of the All-Ireland SHC qualifiers but Kilkenny against Limerick is the standout fixture.

Confirmation of venues, times and dates for all fixtures will be confirmed following a meeting of the CCCC this afternoon. The full draw is as follows with the first teams named having home advantage.

Kilkenny v Limerick Offaly v Waterford
