What a way to honour a legend
Hen and stag party’s are usually pretty hilarious events as friends and family gather together to make as much of an eejit of the soon to be bride or groom as they legally can. This usually involves a specific theme or dress code for the weekend’s festivities, with ‘Dave’s Mate‘ emblazoned on the back of some t-shirt soaked with beer at 3am, a regular sight in chippers across the land.
Well one hen party decided to honour one of Mayo’s most famous and special sons for their theme this weekend and it’s frankly wondrous.
Golden haired wonder kid of the west,Ciarán McDonald, was the man who inspired this motley crew for their hen party over the weekend and we have to take our hats off to everyone who took part. It’s almost as good as one his trademark outside of the left boot points.

We’re not sure how many natural blondes are in the picture but it doesn’t matter. The only thing that could make this better would be an appearance from the Crossmolina man himself.
