One Cork camogie player may need to go back to school after this geography fail today

A sheltered life

We doubt if any offence was meant

Geography always flummoxed this SportsJOE at school.

At table quizzes you could almost ask me anything and I’d be ok, but geography.

No chance.

I knew more about the LA Lakers than ox-bow lakes.

But one thing I could at least depend on was how many counties were in Ireland.

32.

Very definetly 32.

But it seems that one Cork camogie player during today’s trip to Meath for their clash with their hosts in the All-Ireland intermediate championship struggled to grasp the fact that Meath is very much a separate county to Westmeath.

Perhaps the comment was said more tongue-in-cheek than anything during the 2-13 to 0-9 win over their hosts in Ratoath.

But we hope her teammates get her a copy of  this for the journey home.
