RIP.
Jack Wyer was tragically killed in a road accident last year as he crossed the road to his grandparents house in Tullamore.
The 11-year-old was a sports mad youngster, who loved GAA, and loved playing with his schoolmates and his memory was kept alive in a very special way last month when two schools came together in a match at O’Connor Park in Tullamore.
The Club would wish to pass on our heartfelt condolences to the Wyer and Lambe family on the tragic passing of young Jack Wyer. RIP Jack

Ballinamere & Durrow National School Teams both stood side by side with each other before the game in memory of the youngster, with many of the players involved together in the local GAA club.
It’s a wonderful gesture and shows that the memory of the boy lives on in everyone’s hearts according the message we received with the picture via our Facebook:
Ballinamere & Durrow National School Teams stood together for the National Anthem in O Conor Park Tullamore. This was in memory of their club mate Jack Wyer who was killed tragically last year. These boys play together at club level and didn’t want to separate in parade either. Well done to all involved. Great respect shown to the Wyer Family.
Thanks to Ballinamere and Durrow GAA Club for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to editorial@sportsjoe.ie or hit us up on Facebook and Twitter
