GAA fans will have to wait a little longer to see Colm Cooper back in action for the Kerry.

The Kerry ace won’t kick a ball in anger for his county until the springtime

Kingdom boss Eamon Fitzmaurice confirmed to Weeshie Fogarty of Radio Kerry (he of Bayonce/Beyonky fame)  last night that the Dr Crokes man won’t be back in action until  March

The All Ireland winning boss confirmed that Gooch is back running and will feature in some league games for the Munster champions

The multiple All Ireland winner missed all of this season for Kerry after an horrific knee injury sustained on club duty back in February.

Cooper’s return will be a huge boost with Eamon Fitzmaurice set to have a selection headache as he tries to squeeze Gooch, Footballer of the Year James O Donoghue and the returning Tommy Walsh into his starting 15.

We can’t wait to see him back in action scoring worldies like this again
