Meath dominate as ladies football All-Star nominees are announced

Lee Costello

They were outstanding this season.

It should come to as no surprise that the All-Ireland champions are set to make up most of the All-Star team.

They overthrew Dublin in a thrilling final, that saw them emerge victorious when everyone was expecting the capital to maintain their run for five-in-a-row.

It’s for this reason that they lead the way with 14 players on the list of 45 nominees for this year’s TG4 Ladies Football All-Star awards awards.
