LISTEN: Wexford, Tipperary and Kilkenny – two powers on the rise and one in freefall?

Also, Laois manager Eamonn Kelly discusses the Axel influence

Mikey Stafford

It was a weekend to make a mockery of your accumulators.

Kilkenny brought to earth by a previously callow Clare, league specialists Waterford beaten up by Tipp in their own back yard, Dublin giving Cork a runaround and Wexford storming the Salthill barricades.

Sifting through the madness and what it all means are JJ Delaney, Paddy Stapleton, Colm Parkinson and Mikey Stafford.

Is the end nigh for Brian Cody? Have Tipperary becoming boringly brilliant? Is Davy Fitzgerald a genius?

Wooly also chats to Laois manager Eamonn Kelly off the back of the Midlanders’ impressive win over neighbours Offaly. Kelly discusses his departure from the Faithful County last year and his relationship with the late Anthony Foley.

Freshly crowned intermediate club All-Ireland champion Richie Power also takes a call on his way to the pub to chat about life after intercounty, Carrickshock and his troublesome knee.
