LISTEN: The GAA Hour with huge Kerry-Dublin preview and Michael Quinlivan on latest club versus county conundrum

Mikey Stafford

They are going to develop a syndrome below in Kerry if they lose this one.

The Kingdom’s once dominant record over Dublin has been turned on its head and they are without a Championship win over their great rivals since 2009.

Another defeat in Sunday’s All-Ireland semi-final would make it four on the spin for Kerry and it could spell the end for legends like Marc Ó Sé, Aidan O’Mahony, Kieran Donaghy and Colm Cooper.

On the GAA Hour SportsJOE GAA Editor Colm Parkinson asks Barry Cahill, Michael Quinlivan and Mikey Stafford if there is any way for Kerry to beat the reigning All-Ireland champions – by the end they are so confident it can be done that half the studio are backing the Kingdom!

Special guest Quinlivan also reflects on Tipperary’s defeat to Mayo and, as club v county rears its head in the Connacht county again, the Premier sharpshooter offers up an intriguing way to provide club players with more meaningful competition.
