List of the county hurlers out hurling in America this summer

Eric Lalor

The American championships are fairly stacked this year.

Some of the divisional championships have already started and by July 1 every squad will be confirmed for the year.

With Galway, Clare and Waterford among the counties to have their summers ended prematurely, that opened the door for their players to head to the states for the summer.

And they haven’t wasted any time.

From a Waterford perspective Austin Gleeson, Callum Lyons, Jack Prendergast have all moved over to New York to play with Tipperary New York for the summer.

Among the other eye-catching moves include former Clare All-Ireland winner Domhnall O’Donovan while Cork’s Lorcan McLoughlin is out in Boston.
