THE GAA HOUR: Galway’s Irish-dancing bull Damien Comer and serious Neil Gallagher love

Some massive claims about Comer and Galway

Conan Doherty

Damien Comer didn’t even play minor.

Damien Comer, all six foot and 90 kilos of him, used to Irish dance his feet around the place, probably explaining whilst he so damn nimble and evasive.

Damien Comer is one of the most exciting talents in the country right now and, according to Colm Parkinson, he would start in a dream XV of every Gaelic Footballer in Ireland.

The Galway star joins The GAA Hour (the second GAA Hour of the day, the first is a jam-packed championship structures show) to talk about his late development onto the inter-county scene and his background in other activities like Irish dancing.

Along with Armagh legend Steven McDonnell and Conán Doherty, Wooly dissects this weekend’s action and there’s plenty of stomach-churning appreciation for the warrior that is Neil Gallagher – Donegal’s outgoing servant.
