eir Sport return to GAA with club final rights

eir sport will broadcast the Limerick Club Championship Hurling Final live on Saturday next, October 27.

eir return to the GAA after previously broadcasting numerous county championships including the earlier rounds of the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship.

Na Piarsaigh will defend their county title against Doon under the floodlights at the Gaelic Grounds from 7.30pm.

The club championship will cap off a brilliant year for Limerick hurling with the senior intercounty team winning the county’s first All-Ireland title since 1973.

A 168 page annual, Treaty Triumph captured Limerick’s year of years to glorious life with a memory-jogging, chronological pictorial record of their 2018, starting with the Munster League, going all the way through each game of the Allianz League and on through their magical championship run.

Members of the famous triumph, Darragh O’Donovan, Pat Ryan, Declan Hannon, Dan Morrissey and Sean Finn were on hand to launch the photographic memoir and they seemed to be enjoying their flick through the pages, with all the good memories being brought back to them again.
