A massive call in their game against Wexford.
Dublin were given a hugely fortunate break in their Leinster Hurling Championship clash against Wexford, at Parnell Park.
With the Yellowbellies up 3-14 to 0-20, the Sky Blues were awarded a penalty when Cian O’Sullivan was fouled in the box.
Seán Currie’s strike looked to have been saved by Mark Fanning, with the ball spilling behind the keeper but not over the line.
However, after an intervention from referee Michael Kennedy, the goal was given.
But as replays showed, it was an incorrect call.
And it would prove to be a game-changing moment as Dublin went on to win 3-26 to 4-19, for their second victory of this year’s Leinster Championship.
