Results in the first weekend of the Munster SHC went as everyone thought they might, with Clare beating Waterford, and Cork taking down Tipperary.
However, the performances may have surprised some, with the Déise looking strong in defeat, while All-Ireland holders Tipp were lacklustre.
Premier boss Liam Cahill acknowledge as such after the game, with his side looking at what could be a season-defining game against Waterford in two weeks.
He said: "A difficult afternoon for sure, Cork superior again, really cutting holes open in our defence, and goals again win matches, don't they?
"It's a big ask again now for us to pick ourselves up after today and get ready for two weeks time."
Speaking on RTÉ's The Sunday Game was Patrick Horgan, who retired after his county's excruciating loss to Tipp in last year's All-Ireland final, which left the Cork legend without a winner's medal in the competition.
Despite his rivals winning it last year, 'Hoggie' went with the controversial opinion that Tipperary won't make it out of Munster this year, thus ending their hopes of defending their All-Ireland crown.
He said: "Waterford, I would give them a better chance than Tipp of going through at the moment.
"They did show something today, but I think Tipp showed very little, that's why."
Unsurprisingly, he was called out online, with his All-Ireland failures used a stick to bash him with.
Hoggie still cut up over last July it seems . Embarrassing 🤣

Beautiful scenes as older generation of long-suffering Mayo fans celebrate
Incredible stuff! Since their last All-Ireland title before the weekend, back in 1951, Mayo have lost 11 finals and 13 semi-finals, while there were also the games they drew that resulted in replays. Many of the older generation who witnessed the scenes in 1951 probably thought that they would never live to see another title […]

AFL coach claims Mayo tried to get lost star back for All-Ireland final
This is mad if true! It turned out that Mayo didn’t need any extra help to over the line in Sunday’s All-Ireland final, after 75 years of hurt.
