However, the former Spurs boss has declared that first outing to be somewhat of a success today, saying that his goal to game ratio of 1:1 is pleasing. He failed to mention their goals conceded to game ratio though.
In fairness, goals have been hard to come by for Villa this season.
Scott Sinclair’s goal on Saturday was the first time Villa led a Premier League game since December 20, and they’ve scored just 13 times in 26 matches.
