Vine: Norway team take imaginary selfie to celebrate goal at Women’s World Cup

What, no selfie stick?

The Norwegian women’s team pulled a Francesco Totti at the World Cup on Sunday.

Norway absolutely hammered Thailand 4-0 in the tournament opener against Thailand on Sunday.

To add insult to injury, the Norwegians celebrated their third with perhaps the first celebration of its kind at a major tournament. After Isabell Herlovsen netted their third, the team all gathered together and posed for a fake selfie on the pitch.

The immediate question that springs to mind after seeing this video is why didn’t they take a real selfie? They had all the requisite materials in place and conditions were perfect. Whatever happened to ‘in for a penny, in for a pound’?
