Southampton and Arsenal meet in a tasty looking game this afternoon, but all eyes will surely be on Block 24, seat 626 in St Mary’s.
You may remember a love-struck Leinster fan and her search for the mystery man who caught her eye last month, and it seems something similar is happening in Southampton, as the club have been giving their support to one Saints fan who has caught the love bug.
Twitter user @_timcorn has been tweeting the club trying to find out who the mysterious lady sitting near him is, and the club have been replying with some pretty inspirational stuff, which looks like it will come to a head today.
With Tim and the mystery woman set to come face to face today, Southampton have called on him to “man up” and ask the young lady out for a Bovril.
They’ve even gone the extra mile, and put together a video of the would-be couple’s journey, and it’s a pretty fantastic effort.
Romance is alive and well, it seems.

UPDATE: It seems that young Tim really did put his heart on the line this afternoon, and judging by this tweet, the romantic gesture seems to have worked. This JOE is a cynic at the best of times, but fair play to Southampton and Tim for having the stones to go and do it.
