He doesn’t look too bothered to us
Raheem Sterling is probably expecting a lot of stick and aggro from Liverpool fans when he eventually makes it back to Anfield in the new season.
But we imagine he thought he’d be fairly safe on the summer tour of Australia with his new club Manchester City.
Unfortunately Sterling should have known know that there is Liverpool fans everywhere, even at a friendly between City and Melbourne City down under.
The England man’s face flashed up on the big screen for a moment during the game and the fans turned on him with a round of booing.
Not that he looks too bothered by it.
We’d like to insert a joke here about getting used to life on the bench, but we’re not bitter like that.
Not at all.
