It appeared on SportsJOE, our brothers at JOE.co.uk, earned rave reviews and we were delighted with the response.
But even we didn’t expect the man himself to not only watch the video, but actually re-enact our imaginings in a weird but brilliant inception-style full circle.
The Bayern Munich star was shown our creation on the club’s official YouTube channel, and went on to imitate our ‘Big Lewandowski’ effort at a bowling alley – celebration dance and all.
We look forward to Jurgen Klopp’s real-life rendition of ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’…
