There’s one particular player battle in the Europa League final that neutrals are very excited about

Should be a cracker

Two of the most exciting teenagers in world football (who aren’t named Kylian Mbappe) are set to do battle in the Europa League final in a fortnight’s time.

Football fans in the United Kingdom will be more than familiar with a little 19-year-old by the name of Marcus Rashford, the Manchester United wonderkid who has quickly cemented himself as one of Jose Mourinho’s most important players.

Rashford already has 19 goals under his belt for the Red Devils and he certainly played his part in getting his side to the final which will take place in Solna, Sweden.

It was his inch-perfect ball into the box that allowed Marouane Fellaini to nod home and give United the goal that ultimately decided the tie.

And while Rashford will almost certainly be starting for United in the clash with Ajax, it is a player from the Eredivisie outfit who has supporters just as excited.

Kasper Dolberg, like Rashford, is 19 and the Danish youngster has wasted absolutely no time in endearing himself to his side’s fans.

Dolberg has had a far more impressive season than his English counterpart, having scored 22 goals and provided seven assists in 45 games throughout his debut season.

Dolberg opened the scoring for Ajax in the second leg of their semi-final against Lyon and, in spite of a late scare in the form of three unanswered goals from the French side, it will be the battle of wonderkids on May 24.

It’s Rashford vs. Dolberg at the Friends Arena.

And people can’t bloody wait.
