No Vardy? No party.
If you’re not familiar with the PFA Premier League team of the 2015/16 season, let us jog your memory.
The best XI comprises of four Leicester City players (Vardy, Mahrez, Kante, Morgan), four Spurs men (Kane, Alli, Rose, Alderweireld) and a player apiece for Manchester United (De Gea) , West Ham (Payet) and Arsenal (Bellerin).

While some argued that the likes of Sergio Aguero, Mesut Ozil, Christian Fuchs and even Nacho Monreal were unlucky to miss out on the team, the general consensus was that it was a perfectly passable representation of the season’s best performing players.
However, according to leading football stats website WhoScored, it is wrong.
They have compiled detailed statistics on shooting, passing, defending throughout the season to put together their best XI of the season and apart from the inclusion of Payet, Mahrez, and Kante, it is completely different.
The first thing you’ll notice is that they’ve gone for the classic 4-4-2 formation, but with one key twist. Rather than play actual strikers in the front two, they’ve gone for midfielders Ozil and Payet to lead the line. Then it just keeps getting weirder after that. Check it out below.
