Sky Sports are to launch a new channel in the summer.

Sky Sports Mix will, for the first time, allow Sky customers who do not subscribe to the network's sport package, to watch a selection of live Premier League games, La Liga, MLS, 2018 World Cup qualifiers, as well as rugby, golf and GAA. So even if you possess the most basic Sky package, you'll be able to see a number of sporting events, previously only available to subscribers, for no extra cost. According to Sky Sport's managing director Barney Francis: "With Sky Sports Mix, we are giving millions more people access to great moments from some of the world’s biggest sporting events at no extra cost. "It is a fantastic way for all Sky customers to be able to enjoy some of the great content that has made Sky Sports the first choice for sport."
