This won’t do anything to help Sergio Ramos’ reputation.
Ramos is known as much for his roughhousing as he is for his football and he seemed to show his vicious side again on Monday night.
Footage of an incident during the Uefa Nations League game between England and Spain showed Ramos seemingly stamping on Raheem Sterling in the second half of the match.
The Spain captain cut a frustrated figure throughout a first half which saw England score three unanswered goals.
And after the break, Ramos apparently took his anger out on Sterling in the Spain box.
With Sterling sat on his backside as Spain cleared the ball, Ramos could be seen standing on the Manchester City winger and while the Spanish defender would likely argue that it was unintentional, it didn’t look great.

Several viewers spotted the altercation, which ended with Sterling writhing in agony.
The Real Madrid centre-half was booked shortly afterwards for a separate incident but he was perhaps lucky to have stayed on the pitch after the referee missed the apparent stamp.
Ramos scored from a header with the last action of the match, which England won 3-2.
In a scintillating first half, Sterling ended a 1,102 international goal drought with a brace either side of a Marcus Rashford strike.
Spain substitute Paco Alcacer gave the hosts some hope on the hour-mark and while Ramos made the scoreline a bit more respectable, he finds himself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons yet again.
