At just 21 years of age, Dele Alli has already established himself as a full England international and one of the best players in the Premier League.
With all this in mind, there’s plenty of excitement about what the future might hold for the player. One man who may end up playing a key role in the career of the former MK Dons player is, Jorge Mendes, who, according to reports, has held formal talks with Alli about becoming his representative.
The Daily Mail claim that Mendes, whose clients already include the likes of Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo, hopes to add Alli to his list.
Alli is currently represented by Impact Sports Management, though this deal expires halfway through next year. The player is also said to be sounding out a number of different agencies before making any decisions about his representatives.
The Mail’s report points to Mendes’ ties to Real Madrid, a club which they say Alli is believed to be keen to move to at some point in his career. They claim that in signing with Mendes, such a deal will become more straightforward, although his current long-term deal with Spurs means such a move may be some way off.
