As long as everyone’s happy.
If reports are to be believed, it is curtains for Hector Bellerin at Arsenal – and we don’t mean his mid-90s haircut.
SPORT newspaper based in Catalonia is the latest to report that the wing-back is looking to return to whence he came in Iberia.
According to the tabloid, Arsenal and Barcelona – where he used to ply his trade as a youth player – have commenced formal negotiations with a view to agreeing upon a £35m transfer of the player’s services to the Camp Nou.
Although Bellerin hasn’t quite regained the scintillating form he showed prior to an injury to his ankle, he is still a tender 21 years of age and it is reported that Barca are keen to bring him back into the fold to bolster their squad.
The problem is that neither Arsenal fans nor Barcelona supporters seem particularly happy about the proposed transfer.
Gooners seem either resigned to him leaving or insistent that he must honour his recently penned six-year contract, whilst Cules are somewhat cool on a player they feel is no upgrade on their current options.
Still, it’s not like either sets of supporters to make snap judgements or sweeping statements so let’s wait and see…

@hughwizzy Why bellerin would even think of going back to who rejected him is beyond me, but.. for £££ and trophys, he might go unfortunately.

Man I genuinely feel terrified about the Bellerin to Barça links. We can't have a shittier version of Alba (!!!) as a RB..
