Rashford is considering leaving his boyhood club.

Marcus Rashford is reportedly considering leaving Manchester United in order to receive more game time following a lack of opportunities under Ralf Rangnick. The forward has become frustrated at the situation and whilst he has hoped for a change in fortunes, hasn't ruled out seeking a move away from Old Trafford, according to reporter Fabrizio Romano, writing in The Guardian. https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1500746824893624323 Rashford has only started two of the Reds' last 11 league games. The England forward has only scored five goals in 24 appearances this season. He came off the bench for United during their derby day hammering against Manchester City on Sunday. News of Rashford reportedly wanting to leave Old Trafford if the situation didn't improve emerged the day after the 4-1 defeat. The 24-year-old remains under contract until 2023, with an option for a further year, but has fallen further down the pecking order as a result of the emergence of Anthony Elanga this season. Rashford isn't happy with his immediate game time, but the England international has to decide if he would feature more under a new manager. Current interim boss Rangnick isn't expected to remain in charge beyond the end of this season, with United actively searching for their permanent successor. Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag are believed to be leading candidates for the role at Old Trafford. Pochettino had originally been the favourite to take the reins at Old Trafford but the Paris Saint-Germain boss has recently been overtaken by Ten Hag in recent weeks, with the Ajax boss rumoured to be taking English lessons in preparation for the job.
