Bournemouth and Wolverhampton Wanderers are lining up a move for Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher, according to reports.
The Premier League teams are both in the market for a new goalkeeper, and Kelleher could be on his way out of Anfield.
The Republic of Ireland goalkeeper's immediate future, however, depends on several factors.
Liverpool are aiming to sign Giorgi Mamardashvili as Alisson Becker's long-term successor. If Arne Slot's team land the Georgian goalkeeper, he could remain on loan with Valencia or even join a Premier League side on a season-long loan.
Once Mamardashvili's transfer is completed, Liverpool may then sanction Kelleher's exit.
Bournemouth are reportedly looking to sign a new goalkeeper.
Wolves, meanwhile, are trying to sign Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal. If this move doesn't come to fruition, they could make a move for Kelleher, according to The Sunday World.
Kelleher has impressed as Alisson Becker's deputy at Anfield.
The Republic of Ireland goalkeeper made 26 appearances in total for the Reds last season and helped them win the Carabao Cup.
Kelleher also made 10 appearances in the Premier League when Alisson was injured.
The 25-year-old, however, has stated that he would like the chance to become a number one goalkeeper.
“It would be great (to be the number one goalkeeper) if that happened at Liverpool, but I’m not silly," the Irish 'keeper told The Athletic.
"I know that Ali has been the best goalkeeper in the world for years
“I’ve had such an amazing time at Liverpool. It’s been a crazy journey for me and one that I’ve absolutely loved.
"I love the club, I love the fans and I have a great relationship with the players and the staff. Whether it’s here at Liverpool or somewhere else, I do feel the next step for me is to be a No 1."
Liverpool reportedly won't stand in Kelleher's way if he wants to leave the club, as long as their transfer valuation of the player is met.
The Reds are understood to value Kelleher, who has two years left on his current contract, at around €30m.
