Manchester United's Juan Mata has donated toys for children on a visit to a Manchester children's charity.

The news comes just a week after Rio Ferdinand, one of Mata's former Manchester United teammates, donated over half a millions pounds' worth of toys to Manchester radio station Key 103's Cash for Kids Campaign.
The donation was made on behalf of Rosso - the restaurant he owns in the city.

Ferdinand also revealed he intended to donate 11,500 sleeping bags for the homeless.
At a time when there's more than enough said and written about how much money footballers earn, it's good to hear stories of them giving something to people in need.
