Mover over Manny Pacqiuao vs Floyd Mayweather, the boxing community just got an even bigger superfight.

Former heavyweight and cruiserweight champion of the world Evander Holyfield is stepping back into the ring nearly five years after his last bout.

The man, who’s ear is considered a delicacy by Mike Tyson, will fight none other than ex-US presidential candidate Mitt Romney in his return to the ring. Romney and Holyfield will slug it out in a charity event in Salt Lake City on May 15.

Romney, who lost out to Barack Obama in the 2012 US presidential election, has been doing media work to hype the fight.

It will either be a very short fight, or I will be knocked unconscious.

The 68-year-old could take a leaf out of Conor McGregor’s book when it comes to self-marketing. He has already made the assurance that “it won’t be much of a fight.” and that they’ll just “spar around a little bit.” So anyone who was hoping to see a man nearing his 70s getting his head knocked clean off by a former heavyweight champion will be grossly disappointed.

However, the event will be for a worthy cause. All the proceeds will go to Charity Vision, a group which brings  medical care, mostly eye surgeries to impoverished areas around the globe.
