Duffer was lining out for Melbourne City against Sydney FC and, when Melbourne had gone 1-0 up, Duff attempted to latch onto a parried save from the Sydney ‘keeper but was impeded on his way through.
The ‘stopper was making no effort to play the ball so why the spot kick wasn’t given is beyond the brightest minds here at SportsJOE.
Apparently the Ireland legend had some cross words with the officials at half-time and you can see from this tweet that the former Chelsea man was not in the most cheerful of moods.
