When is a six-point lead at the top of the league table not enough?
When you’re the Celtic manager bombing out of Europe.
Ronny Delia’s countrymen from Molde did him no favours at Celtic Park this evening, a 2-1 win leaving the Scottish champions needing wins in their final two games home to Ajax and away to Fenerbahce to progress to the final 32.
On tonight’s evidence that is not likely and even a fifth straight Scottish title at the end of the season will not assuage the anger of supporters who feel the Bhoys should be competing in Europe.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are sixth in the Norwegian league but they took the lead in the 21st minute in Glasgow and regained it in the 37th minute after Kris Commons had briefly got Celtic level.

Having lost Virgil Van Dijk to Southampton during the summer the Celtic defence looks far from convincing but most fans do not seem to interested in making excuses for Delia.
