Admittedly, probably not the most significant change for Arsenal over the weeks ahead…

The 2018/19 campaign promises to be a significant one for Arsenal Football Club. For the first time in 22 years, there will be a new manager at the helm following Arsene Wenger’s announcement that he is to step down from his position.

They also get a new home kit, too. Not quite as much of a big deal.

With reports continuing to suggest Arsenal will agree a new kit deal with adidas or Nike in time for the 2019/2020, images shared across social media have shown what is believed to be the final Puma home shirt the club’s players will wear.

As is to be expected, the shirt is mainly red with white sleeves. Puma have added a rounded neck with a series of thin red bands wrapping around the lower parts of the sleeves.

Footy Headlines, who have leaked the images, tell us that Puma have also ditched the darker red used in the current Arsenal home shirt, returning the new edition to a ‘Chili Red Heather’.

Although there are no images showing the rest of the kit yet, the shorts are expected to be white, as is tradition, with the socks the same colour.

It is scheduled for an official launch in early June, too.
