Don’t worry Arsenal fans. There’s absolutely no chance that Barcelona will come knocking for Hector Bellerin this summer.
With 33-year-old Dani Alves calling time on his career at the Nou Camp, some have suggested a Barca move for Arsenal’s 21-year-old right back is inevitable.
But seriously, Gooners, there’s nowt in it.
The Catalan press haven’t mentioned a thing…

And with Barcelona-born Bellerin spending the coming weeks with the Spain team, we’re certain that the Barca players in Vincente del Bosque’s squad won’t be encouraging him to swap The Emirates for the Nou Camp.
That sort of thing never happens…
Yet despite all this, some of those that hold Arsenal close to their heart are fearful that Barcelona, the team that Bellerin represented during his youth career, may yet come calling.
The desperation to fend off any approach for him from Luis Enrique had already started to seep on to Twitter…

But as we said, he ain’t going anywhere.
If you don’t want to take our word for it, take it from Barcelona’s Sporting Director, Robert Fernandez.
“He is a fantastic player but I’m not planning any situation,” he said when asked if he was plotting a move for Bellerin.
And as we all know, the directors of major Spanish clubs are always completely honest when it comes to discussing potential transfer targets.
