Following Brazil and Germany’s underwhelming performances on Sunday, we have another three matches of football lined up for day five of the FIFA World Cup from Russia.
Sone Heung-min and South Korea take on Sweden, perennial underachievers Belgium take on Panama in the Fisht Stadium before Gareth Southgate’s England kick-off their World Cup campaign against Tunisia in Volgograd in the final game of the evening.
If you don’t already have a reason to watch Janne Andersson’s Sweden take on the might of South Korea, or if you need a greater pull to watch Romelu Lukaku barrel his way through Panamanian defenders in Sochi, then we’ve a wager for you that might whet the appetite.
We’re tipping Son Heung-min as an anytime goalscorer at 3/1 to score against Sweden. The Tottenham winger is coming off a strong season with Spurs and he was South Korea’s top goalscorer in the AFC qualifiers with seven goals.
Similarly, Romelu Lukaku was Belgium’s top scorer in the qualifiers with 11 goals in the campaign and he also has 13 goals in his last 10 games for Roberto Martinez’s side.
The Manchester United striker seemingly can’t miss for the national side and he’s 5/2 to score first but we’re tipping Belgium -2 on the handicap market as they have won four of their last five matches by three goals or more.
Finally, England have won seven of their last eight games and we’re tipping them to extend that streak with a 2-0 or 3-0 win with captain Harry Kane to score at anytime.
The three bets come in at a combined 55/1 and are worth following throughout the day
