Robbie Henshaw has been ruled out Ireland’s crunch clash against Argentina

A tough blow.

Robbie Henshaw has been ruled out of Ireland’s clash with Argentina on Saturday evening.

It’s a pity for any player to miss a match but for Robbie Henshaw to miss the game against Argentina and a chance to right the wrongs of Ireland’s quarter-final loss from the 2015 World Cup – It’s a cruel blow.

You’d want Henshaw in there, of course you would, he’s one of Ireland’s best players.

Ruaidhri O’Connor of the Irish Independent is reporting that Leinster player has been ruled out of Saturday evening’s clash with a hamstring injury as they look to go three from three in the Autumn series after wins over Fiji and South Africa.

It’s almost poignant that the news has broken just after SportsJOE reported that Nemani Nadolo was raving about Henshaw and Garry Ringrose:

“I have been very impressed with Robbie Henshaw and Garry Ringrose whenever I have faced them, playing for Leinster.

“They front up in defence and are not afraid to have a go if they think an attack is on.

“They should do well for Ireland for years to come and I think they could be the next British & Irish Lions centres. Don’t be surprised if you see that in a few years. They’re top players.”
