Pressure can do strange things to people in front of crowds-some can crumble like that that packet of biscuits rolling around the bottom of your bag for the last week- but for others it can make them do extraordinary things.
Annalise Murphy falls in to the last category as the video of her hitting an incredible half-court shot on her first attempt has finally surfaced.
The feat was achieved at the National Cup semi-final’s earlier this month as the 14 year-old took up the challenge of hitting a free throw, a three pointer and a half-court shot in the Neptune stadium to win €100.
And it wasn’t a bother to the Team Montenotte Hotel player after a shaky start:
Serious skills by the Irish international.
Remember, both the women’s and men’s National Cup finals are on this Saturday at the National Basketball Arena.
