The St Louis Rams are looking pretty hot at home this season, in more ways than one.
After surprising the league with an overtime win over the back-to-back NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks in their home opener, many were thinking this could be the thing that ignites the Rams' season.
But the Rams - who are owned by Arsenal majority shareholder Stan Kroenke - were left red-faced as their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers was delayed after the pitch caught fire.
As part of the traditionally over-the-top team introductions, the fireworks got a little out of hand and burnt a hole in the ground underneath.
Kick off was delayed by 20 minutes as groundskeepers attempted to make the field playable.
