The Truth will set you free

After a regular season that appeared to signal his decline, ageing Washington Wizards superstar Paul Pierce has been back to his best in the play-offs.

The Boston Celtics legend added yet another highlight to his portfolio last night, hitting this incredible off-balance buzzer-beater off the glass to beat the top-seeded Atlanta Hawks 103-101 in Game 3 to take a 2-1 lead in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.

The 37-year-old, in his first year with the Wizards, has given the DC outfit a fresh brand of belief and swagger that was on show during his post-game TV interview.

Out west, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors have it all to do after falling 2-1 behind in their series against the Memphis Grizzlies.

It was a second off night running for league MVP Curry, who was ice cold with his trademark three-point shots as the title favourite Warriors fell 98-89 in Memphis.
