Vines: Injured Aaron Rodgers produces bullet-like touchdown throw to send Packers through in fourth quarter

Seahawks await in NFC Championship game

Bow down before Aaron Rodgers.

The Green Bay quarterback’s season just went from sensational to off the charts as he dragged the Packers from behind against the Cowboys to book an NFC showdown with Seattle.

Rodgers, who was supposed to be carrying a calf injury, produced some fourth quarter magic when he delivered the game-winning play with his torpedo throw arrowing straight into the chest of Richard Rodgers in the end zone.

But the Packers drew a huge sigh of relief when poor old Dez Bryant was pulled up for an incompletion after his outrageous overhead catch spilled from his hands on the ground despite recovering to cross for what looked like a touchdown.

And, even Aaron Rodgers needed a little help late in the game when his half-blocked throw was somehow miraculously rescued by Randall Cobb to grant the Packers another first down and more or less sow up the tie and put Green Bay one game from the Superbowl.
