VINE: WWE legend Hacksaw Jim Duggan made a bizarre appearance at an ice hockey game

The last man you'd expect to see

Darragh Murphy

The NHL game between the Nashville Predators and the Toronto Maple Leafs quickly descended into a 1989 wrestling match when Hacksaw Jim Duggan appeared on the scene.

The professional wrestling legend popped up at the Bridgestone Arena during Nashville’s 4-3 victory and gave Toronto’s mascot, Carlton the Bear, a walloping with his trusty 2×4.

The finishing move added insult to injury for the Maple Leafs, whose losing streak was pushed to 10 games with last night’s defeat.

We at SportsJOE have started to become more and more enamoured with ice hockey with ridiculous goals like this being scored but now that Hacksaw’s involved, there really is no turning back for us.
