New York, the city where defence sleeps

If you're and NBA star waiting for your chance to showboat, you will have the New York Knicks circled on your calendar. The abysmal residents of Madison Square Garden have tumbled to a league-worst 10-45 record, with a lackadaisical defence just one feature of their fall to ineptitude. LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were the visitors to the Big Apple yesterday, and with the game already decided by half-time, when the Cavs led 62-38, it was former Knick JR Smith, who escaped the New York morass in a trade to Cleveland last month, who put the exclamation point on the victory with this sweet reverse slam. LeBron quite enjoyed it too. [h/t SB Nation]
